Dr Scott Oliver BSc(Hons) MBChB MRCP(Neph) PGCert (Health Prof Educ) MFMLM PhD is Consultant Nephrologist and Lead Clinical Trainer in NHS Lanarkshire, and honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow School of Medicine. His research interests include complex clinical systems (the subject of his PhD thesis) and professionalism.

Dr Kathleen Collins MBChB, MRCPCH is Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics and Lead Clinical Trainer in NHS Lanarkshire. She is also honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow School of Medicine and honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh Medical School. Her research interests include professionalism, inter-professional and in-situ simulation.
Catie Paton BA Health RN, RNT, PG Cert Professional Education, MSc Human Factors Science is Clinical Skills Nurse Consultant and Associate Director of Medical Education, NHS Lanarkshire. She is honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in the University of Glasgow School of Medicine. Her role is promoting a culture of patient safety in the development of technical and non-technical clinical skills, utilising a facilitative, collaborative professional approach that inspires, enables and empowers medical and NMAHP faculty to generate new ways of working that will contribute to a state of the art clinical simulation, skills and resuscitation service. She promotes this by utilising her extensive experiences as a nurse, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a facilitator of Human Factors Science. The training developed and delivered at the NHS Lanarkshire Medical Education Training Centre covers all levels of staff from students to highly experienced clinicians. Her research interests are inter-professional learning.
